UWATA Primary Parent App

This Privacy Policy explains how UWATA Primary Parent App (“the App”) accesses, uses, stores, and deletes user data.

The App is designed for use by parents and guardians only.

The App does not independently create child data. All child-related information is securely fetched from school-managed systems via APIs and displayed only to authorized parents or guardians.

The App processes developmental information entered by teachers and stored in school systems.

This may be considered sensitive or health-related data.

The App does NOT create this data and does NOT provide medical diagnosis.

AI is used only to summarize teacher-entered data.

We apply appropriate security measures including encryption and access control.

8. Data Retention

User data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide services and support the child’s enrollment in the school.

Certain information may be retained for a longer period where required for legal, regulatory, administrative, or accounting purposes. Such retained data will be securely stored and will not be used for any other purpose.

9. Data Deletion

Parents are not allowed to delete their accounts directly within the app. To request account deletion, a parent must submit a formal request to the school administration, clearly explaining the reason for the request.

All deletion requests will be reviewed and verified by the school administration before any action is taken.

Once a request is approved, the account and associated personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, regulatory, or accounting obligations.

If a user does not receive a response within 7 working days, they may follow up using the same contact details provided above.

Account deletion is subject to verification and approval by the school administration. Some data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate administrative purposes.

10. Children’s Privacy

Children do not directly use the app.
